I have been in the health and fitness industry for over a decade and use a variety of techniques to assist clients in regaining optimal health, wellness and fitness. I am a Level 3 CHEK practitioner and use the orthopedic and biomechanical assessments coupled with nutrition and lifestyle coaching and neuromuscular therapy for amazing results.
I am commited to giving all of my clients the very best advice and assitance when it comes to health, fitness, rehabilitation and performance.
After spending four years with the 1st Regiment Army Air Corps I left the army with no real plan. About four years later I was working at a leisure centre coaching kids activities and the like when the instructor taking the gym induction phoned in sick. I was asked to take the session and despite not having a clue about the subject I was teaching and found myself being drawn into the fitness industry.
I have worked for local authorites, private gyms and trainers and set up my own company in 1999 as a freelance trainer. Despite studying a degree in health and fitness and certifying with various organisations plus writing a book on cardiovascular conditioning, I found that I was not excited by just training people on a day to day basis and felt that I was just scratching the surface doing cardiovascular, strength and bodyfat measurements. In 2004 I found out about Paul and the CHEK Institutes approach to a holistic model of working with clients. I have had some amazing results with clients and it keeps me motivated and excited about what I do by using the models of corrective and performance exercise, holistic coaching and neuro-muscular therapies to get great results in a short space of time with clients.
